The wheel has came home after being repaired.
Jim has been attempting to spin a tad bit.  |

I have a few friends with spinning wheels, but I really don't know how to use one. I have learned how to use a drop spindle though! _________________ ~~~~~~~

Which type of drop spindle are you using? Bottom or Top Whorl?
Jim has a bottom whorl that he has been using too. He started using that while the wheel was being repaired.  |

Bottom whorl. I haven't actually gotten one myself, but friends have taught me.
I'm going to try growing flax this year, for linen! I've a friend who is going to teach me the whole process. Should be interesting.
