We don't interplant much, because it can be hard on the soil (uses a lot of nutrients at once). But we had to this year, when the tiller broke, before we got the other implements.
So we had garlic planted last November, and Randy interplanted with the first lettuce. Here it is:

How about shipping some of that garlic this way
We do a bit of companion planting, marigolds with tomatoes, mint with cabbage, rosemary with beans. Wards off some of those nasty bugs in the gardens. _________________ http://prosperinegoathill.blogspot.com/ |

You bet! We should have the first of it ready to harvest in another month or two, and I'll be happy to send some your way .
Homegrown garlic is the best. It always amazes me how much better even simple things, like garlic, is when it's not bought from the store. _________________ ~~~~~~~
