I'm not supporting NAIS, but I did put a couple of RFID chips into some goats I sold recently. They were too big to tattoo.



Anyway, putting the chips in is easy. I was quite surprised, because the needle is HUGE. But it seemed as though the goat didn't even feel it.

I decided to go with the chips in the tail for a variety of reasons, but mostly because the thought of tattooing makes me ill Eek! I'm not sure I could do it. It's probably as easy as a chip, but I've not had anyone to teach me. And Randy really doesn't want to do it. So we are using the chips!
